Mac’s Super Foods partners with Wallace School in fund raiser PDF Print E-mail

Mac’s Super Foods is proud to announce their partnership with Wallace Public School District 65R to help raise money for educational equipment.
The Register Tapes for Education program is a collaborative partnership between Mac’s Super Foods and Wallace School that allows customers to turn in their register tape receipts to the school for seven months.
The school could then exchange a portion of the collective value of the tapes for educational equipment to enhance student learning. During the 2011-2012 year the National Honor Society counted receipts totaling $104,000 for the school. In conjunction with the program, an in-house shopper contest was held.
Gloria Schultz won the shopper contest and received a gift certificate to Mac’s Super Foods for $500 as well as an iPod Shuffle.
According to Gary McConnell, owner of Mac’s Super Foods, “This program not only  provides a terrific opportunity to help our school, but a way for us to thank our loyal customers, like Gloria.”
By shopping at Mac’s Super
Foods, consumers not only get quality foods, friendly service, and terrific savings, they can also help tomorrow’s generation by heightening their learning experiences with new school equipment.
The National Honor Society students appreciate Mac’s Super Foods for sponsoring this program and all the community members who sent and mailed receipts to the school. The school is getting classroom scanners and playground equipment with the points earned.
