Wallace seniors will sit together as a class one last time on Saturday before leaving the halls of high school to seek their futures.
Fifteen 2012 graduates will take part in the ceremony on May 5 at 4:30 CT with family and friends gathering in their honor to celebrate.
Graduating seniors include: Lexi Banks, Dalton Cline, Dustin Fosbinder, Hunter Franzen, Emily Hasenauer, Miki Hei, Brooke Hochstetler, Kelsey Hubbard, Eric Koop, John Paul Lempke, Bradee Manary, Tanner McCoy, Danica Messersmith, Ethen Scott and Sara Rollenhagen.
Escorts for the seniors are Anna Griffiths, Josh Grauerholz, Chelsea Sowle and Josh Harms.
The 2012 class motto is a quote from Marianne Williamson: “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.”
Selected as class colors are black, lime green and silver. Seniors will present gerbera daisies to loved ones during a special song, “On My Way” by Phil Collins.
John Paul Lempke will deliver the valedictorian address followed by a salutatory address by Emily Hasenauer.
Members of the class will be featured in a video prior to presentation of diplomas by the board of education. Classmates will exit the gym to “Tattoos on This Town” by Jason Aldean followed by reception gatherings to commemorate the occasion.
