Free mammograms are now available at Perkins County Health Services upon eligibility qualifications.
A doctor will need to schedule the appointment as needed.
Proof of no insurance or high deductible will need to be provided.
There is a form that goes through the financial office and upon approval the mammogram will be paid by a fund created by the Perkins County FFA Pink Out event and distributed by the PCHS Foundation.
The initial fund is $4,000 and this will allow for up to 10 mammograms.
When the funds are exhausted, the mammograms will no longer be available free.
