A book signing Sunday at Hastings Memorial Library was well attended by those seeking “The Waiting Cross,” author P. F. Bottom’s latest novel based on the life of St. Luke, the only Gentile writer in the New Testament.
Joining him at the event were MaxQ Enterprises publisher Linda Young and author Naomi Schmitt. Schmitt is also signed on with MaxQ Publishing, and her book “Allur” (fantasy junior fiction) will be available through Kindle at the end of August.
In the creation of “The Waiting Cross,” a 322-page work of fiction, Bottom spent countless hours researching Greek and Roman history as well as archaeology and its relationship to the accuracy of Luke’s writings.
The third edition of Dr. Bottom’s book, “Forest of Fears” will be out in ebook by the end of July and the printed version will become available in September.
He is currently working on his third novel which is expected to be released in the fall of 2013.
Those attending enjoyed refreshments and visiting.
