|Robin Hood fights for Sherwood Forest|
Fairgoers were entertained by “The Very Un-Merry Adventures of Robin Hood,” sponsored by the 125th anniversary committee and directed by Tyler Mahnken, on Thursday, July 26 in the fair’s grandstands. Robin Hood and his Merry Men discover that Sherwood Forest is to be destroyed, and can only be saved by winning an archery, beauty and talent contest, a predicament that yields hilarious results for the addled Robin Hood and his equally dim-witted friends.

Robin Hood thinks that William Shakespeare’s (Steve Tucker) poetry is the worst he has ever heard.
