The annual talent show was held at the Perkins County Fair on Thursday, July 26.
Eight entries, including mainly instrumental and vocal music, and a first, at least in recent Perkins County history—a toaster-playing act, entertained the crowd that gathered in the grandstands.
Winning the junior division and $200 in chamber bucks was Abby Thurin. Second place and $100 went to Kaden Sinner and third ($50) to “The Lightning Bolts,” Miah Long and Savannah Schmitt.
Winner of the adult division, Ethan Behrends, took home $200 in chamber bucks. Second place and $100 in chamber bucks went to Amanda Wood and third place of $50 in chamber bucks went to musical group, “Still Breathing.”
