Grant City Council released June figures for water use and lotto sales during their regular meeting the first part of July.
The figures include:
• Water Use: A total of 34,420,100 gallons of water were used during June, which was over a 5.6 million gallon increase from the previous month of May.
During May there were 28,781,000 gallons consumed by Grant residents.
In comparing consumption on a yearly basis, June 2012 saw 34,420,100 gallons used compared to 20,716,400 in June 2011. This was a 13,703,700 gallon increase.
• Lotto: Gaming sales at DJ’s Bar and Grill totaled $4,584 for June. Payout was $2,283 for a net of $2,301. An amount of $15 went unclaimed.
