Two employees at Ogallala Community Hospital have earned scholarships to help further their education in health care.

Jana Turner of Grant,  medical technologist in the laboratory at OCH, received a Graduate Health Care Career Scholarship worth $3,000. Turner plans to pursue a master’s degree in health care administration with Bellevue University.
Carmen Sizer, a health unit coordinator, received a scholarship for $1,000 per academic year from the Nebraska Hospital Association. She plans to pursue an associate’s degree in nursing at Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte.
The NHA Research and Educational Foundation aims to help address ongoing shortage of health care providers through two scholarship programs for undergraduate and graduate students.
