Foundation to raise funds with glow ball golf tourney
Not ready to put away your golf clubs? This event is for you. On Sept. 22 the Perkins County School Foundation will be holding a Glow-Ball Golf Tournament fund raiser. The tournament will begin with nine holes at 3:30 p.m.
This event is a two player scramble and the ladies will play from the appropriate tees.
After the first nine holes a meal will be provided by the foundation and the teams will be placed in flights based on their play during the initial nine holes.
During the second nine holes players will play with glow balls. The greens will glow, the carts will glow and you can glow.
This event will be limited to the first 27 teams and the entry fee is $120 per two player team.
The Perkins County School Foundation is a 501 C-3 Corporation so all donations are tax deductible.
A silent auction will be held in conjunction with the event and those in the community that do not golf, are encouraged to come out and participate in the auction and watch the golfers.
The Perkins County School Foundation currently administers 19 scholarships and provides financial support to specialized programs through teacher stipends. This has all been made possible because of the generosity of past benefactors.
