ASE testing available at Mid Plains PDF Print E-mail

Following a brief lapse in availability, Automotive Service Excellence testing is again available at Mid-Plains Community College’s Career Services Center on NPCC’s North Campus. Registration for the fall testing session for ASE certification for technicians in automotive repair is open now through Nov. 21.
Through special arrangement with prometric testing, the computer-based testing offers a convenient way for automotive professionals to test and certify their specialized credentials. Testing is administered in a secure environment with trained proctors. Technicians receive results of tests upon completion of the assessments.
Across the country, auto professionals are ASE certified in dozens of specialty areas, some certified in multiple areas including service consultants, collision repair/refinish technicians, medium/heavy truck technicians, and parts specialists.
Fall testing sessions at NPCC will be scheduled from Oct. 1 through Nov. 30. A variety of appointment times are available.
Technicians should first contact ASE for registration at or (877) 346-9327. Registrants will be given complete information and an eligibility number which will then allow them to schedule the assessment appointment at the college.
For more information, please call MPCC Career Services Center at (308) 535-3618.
