Recognize a volunteer in the community PDF Print E-mail

There’s at least one in every organization – that special volunteer who gives a little more, who is always there, who never gives up. Recognize that person in the community by nominating them for a Governor’s Point of Light Award, a statewide collaborative program of ServeNebraska and the Office of the Governor.
Every quarter Governor Heineman, honors accomplishments of Nebraskans who have given exemplary volunteer service to their communities.
The nomination process is easier than ever.  Go to the ServeNebraska website to download, complete and submit a Governor’s Points of Light Award nomination,  www.serve.nebraska.gov/awards/awards_governor.htm for someone who has made a big difference to the community! The application deadline is Sept. 15, 2012.
