Johnson completes Eagle Scout project PDF Print E-mail

With the completion of a project benefitting the community, Boy Scout Timothy Johnson has fulfilled a major requirement for his Eagle Scout badge.
Johnson, who is 17 and a junior at Perkins County High School, installed cement and rock behind the American Legion Hall, completing the project in July.
Assisting Johnson were fellow scouts James McArtor, Colton Schmidt, Kaden Kammerer, Chase and Christian Miyamoto and Beau Wood; leader Dennis Miyamoto; adult helpers Mike McArtor, Kyle Kammerer, Brandon Wood, Tim and Lori Johnson, and Tim’s brother, Charles.
The nearly $2000 project will help to alleviate the muddiness that occurs near the back door of the Legion Hall.
A boy scout for 10 years, Johnson has been included in trips to Snowy Range, Camp Laramie Peak and Camp Augustine, and has participated in Order of the Arrow.
