Stories and songs of faith will be presented in concert on Monday, Oct. 1 at North Platte’s Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
The “Story & Song Tour” features three nationally and internationally renowned Christian recording artists, Jesse Manibusan, Sarah Hart, and Steve Angrisano.
The concert is at 7 p.m. CT. Autographs and refreshments are to follow and there will be a free will offering at the door. The young, young of heart, and people of all faiths are welcome.
Jesse Manibusan calls himself a Catholic lay evangelist who uses music, comedy and stories to connect with people. Very much in demand around the country as a motivational speaker, Jesse’s uplifting message touches all generations. “God gives us life. We may have disappointments, we may be really angry or depressed,” said the singer. “It’s good we can have a moment to say to God, ‘Thank you for life.’”
Sarah Hart is a musician and a mother. Sarah has written songs that have been recorded by numerous artists, including Amy Grant, Robbie Seay, Matt Maher, 33 Miles, This Beautiful Republic, Sarah Reeves and Jaime Jamgochian. Her music has appeared in the television shows Joan of Arcadia and Strong Medicine, and the film Coyote County Loser. Her songs can be found in print in most Catholic churches in the U.S.
Sarah has also penned music for two musicals, and works as a songwriter and voiceover artist with the Tom Tichenor Children’s Theater in Nashville, Tennessee. She is the recipient of eight Unity awards for her work.
Steve Angrisano is a veteran musician, composer and youth minister who has been featured at six World Youth Days, several National Catholic Youth Conferences and many diocesan youth conventions/conferences.
Angrisano’s easy, honest style of ministry is born from who he is: a committed witness to the life and love of Jesus Christ. He is not just a performer. His genuine and sincere desire to bring everyone to a closer relationship with the Lord is what gives each event its own distinctive spiritual energy.
