Fischer fund-raiser set at livestock auction in Ogallala PDF Print E-mail

Ogallala Livestock Auction Market and the Keith, Arthur and Perkins County Republican Party invite everyone to join them for a Fall Family Fun Event to meet U.S. Senate Candidate Deb Fischer Sunday, Oct. 21, 1:30–3:30 p.m. at the Livestock Auction, 1507 West 1st, Ogallala.
There will be games and activities for the children, and cake and ice cream for everyone.
Lunch will be available for purchase. This is a casual event to gather with neighbors and be entertained by local talent. Games and activities include: ring toss, pin the tail on the donkey, face painting, “dummy” calf roping, bean bag toss, donut dunking.
Featured speakers to include Senator Deb Fischer, Senator Mike Flood (NE Speaker of the House), along with other Republican candidates and dignitaries.
Local talent, including cowboy poetry and singing, as well as a door prize of a U.S. Flag flown over the U.S. Capitol, donated by Congressman Adrian Smith, will be part of the activities of the day.
This event is free to attend, but an auction of an “imaginary steer” will be held. No one will be able to actually purchase an animal. This will be a fun way to raise money for Senator Fischer.
The “imaginary steer” will be sold piece by piece, i.e. the eyes, tail, nose, front quarter, etc. The ‘winners’ of the auctioned pieces of the “steer” will just write a check directly to Deb Fischer for U.S. Senate.
Free-will contributions are welcome by calling (308) 289-8700.
