“Angel Tree” can make a child’s Christmas special PDF Print E-mail

Donate money to the project for children through any pastor in the county. Anyone can suggest a child for the Angel Tree project. Deadline is Nov. 13.

Through efforts of churches, schools and adults in Perkins County, children in our communities who otherwise might not have a joyful Christmas can be assured a special season through the “Angel Tree” project.
The project is sponsored by the Perkins County Ministerial Association and organized by volunteers from various churches.
How It Works
Letters to parents/caregivers in the county are being sent home with the students in Perkins County Schools.
The letter seeks information on each child and what their gift request might be, i.e. the child’s name, age, and what they want for Christmas.
Letters will also available at any church or school, The Grant Tribune-Sentinel office and Hatch’s Super Foods.
Money donations may be given to any pastor or dropped off at Pinnacle Bank in Grant.
Gift cards will also be distributed to families to purchase groceries for a special meal during Christmas.
Deadline for Requests
In order to meet the gift requests for this year’s Angel Tree, forms must be completed and returned NO LATER than Tuesday, Nov. 13. Please mail forms to:  Marlene Pritchett, Box 370, Grant NE 69140.
