Nebraska Music Educators Association recently sponsored the Nebraska All State Band, Chorus, Jazz Band and Orchestra.
Wallace students Josh Harms and Landon Swedberg were selected for their second year to be in the All State Chorus, one of the highest musical honors attainable in Nebraska. They were part of the 440 member choir, which was composed of students from all over the state.
Dr. Craig Arnold, the artistic director and chairman of Manhattan Concert Productions in New York City, was the guest conductor for the choir. He rehearsed with the choir during the evening, all day on Thursday and Friday until they performed Friday afternoon.
The concert was held at the Lied Center for the Performing Arts on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus.
