Service of “Darkness to Light” planned PDF Print E-mail

A service of remembrance for those grieving the loss of someone close.

It is about time to enter Advent, which is a special time of year to look forward to Christmas and again welcome the Christ Child.
However, for many, this time of year can be difficult. The joy and celebration around others can be hard to bear as they carry the grief and pain of loss of someone close; someone who will not be with them to celebrate this holiday season.
In acknowledgement of this reality, the Grant United Methodist Church will host a reflective time of worship—a service of “Light in the Darkness.”
Join the service on Sunday, Dec. 9, at 4 p.m. at the church located at 4th and Warren in Grant.
This will be a service of quiet reflection; a safe place to feel pain, to light a candle with others who can feel the darkness too.
Everyone is invited to be part of this service of remembrance.
