A lift, which is like a small elevator, was recently installed at Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Grant.
It is located inside, just east of the southwest door of the church.
The lift has a platform that is 37 by 58 inches, which is large enough for a wheelchair and one other person, or a total of 750 pounds.
From the entry level, it can go up to the sanctuary or to the basement.
