Dinner theatre coming in March PDF Print E-mail

Seeking actors and behind-the-scene help.

By Jan Rahn
Managing Editor
Watch for tickets to go on sale the first of February for a dinner theatre produced by the Perkins County Area Arts Council.
To be staged on March 15-16, the play “Nana’s Naughty Knickers” features Bridget and her grandmother who are about to become roommates.
Members of the community are being sought for the 10-member cast that requires male and female actors from teens to over 60.
Bridget sees a unique opportunity to stay with her favorite nana in New York for the summer, but the experience turns into one she’ll never forget. Will Bridget be able to handle all of the excitement? Will nana get arrested, or worse, evicted?
Actors and Behind-the-Scenes Help Needed
Anyone interested in auditioning through the middle of January may contact play director Dawnell Glunz at 308-353-6329.
In addition to actors, people are needed to assist in other aspects of the production by helping with food service, ticket sales and set construction. Anyone interested in helping behind the scenes may contact Bernard Deaver at Deaver Computer Service, 308-352-2442.
Proceeds from the dinner theatre will benefit the Perkins County Area Arts Council and the drama department at Perkins County High School. Tickets will be available at Deaver Computer.
