Deadline approaching for MPCC scholarship PDF Print E-mail

The financial aid office at Mid-Plains Community College has announced that individuals who are interested in scholarships to MPCC (including McCook, North Platte, Imperial, Ogallala, Broken Bow and Valentine campuses) should submit their scholarship application by March 1 to receive priority status for scholarships.
Scholarship applications can be picked up at the welcome centers at McCook and North Platte, as well as at the Imperial, Ogallala, Broken Bow and Valentine extended campus locations.
Applications can also be obtained from a local high school and from the MPCC Financial Aid website.
MPCC offers hundreds of scholarships each year. Last year, the college awarded more than $1 million dollars in academic and athletic scholarships to more than 750 students.
MPCC also administers several hundred scholarships to current high school students to take college classes while in high school. Check with  high school counselor to see if eligible for either the ACE or Walsh Brady 50 percent awards.
It should be noted that scholarship applications can be received anytime, but those who apply by March 1 will get priority status.
