Sexson named February Senior of the Month PDF Print E-mail

Jacob Sexson, senior of the month for February, has been involved in many activities and sports during his high school years at Perkins County.
These include FFA, student council, cross country, basketball, golf and band.
He has been a participant in speech for three years and is a member of National Honor Society.
Jacob was named to Academic All-State for basketball his junior year and took part in scholastics for two years. He is a member of Perkins County Youth Council.
His work history includes helping his parents out on the family farm, doing yard work, and landscaping.
Jacob was selected as a representative to Boys State and has attended the Washington Leadership Conference.
After graduation, he plans to attend either the University of Nebraska at Lincoln or Omaha majoring in accounting with a minor in business administration.
His goals include perhaps attending graduate school. He hopes to get his CPA either during or after graduate school.          
Sexson is the son of Doug and Shari Sexson of rural Grant.
For being selected Senior of the Month, Sexson’s picture will hang in the lobby of Pinnacle Bank in Grant and he will be eligible for a scholarship awarded at the end of the school year.
The Student of the Month and scholarship program are sponsored by Pinnacle Bank of Grant and members of the community.
