Metcalf of Doane Dean’s List

Tanya Metcalf of Elsie has been named to the Doane College Dean’s List for Fall 2012.
Students must achieve a minimum 3.7 grade point average on a 4.0 scale to qualify for this academic distinction.

Ogg performs in UNK concert

The Men’s Chorus, Women’s Chorus, Collegium and the Choraleers at the University of Nebraska at Kearney performed a combined concert with the theme “Love Makes the World Go Round” on Sunday, Feb. 24, in the Fine Arts Recital Hall.
Among the featured performers were Hillary Fick of Wahoo and Kristina Price of Hickman, both on b-flat clarinets, along with Bert Ogg of Madrid on the bass clarinet, who performed  a Mozart selection.
Ogg, a tenor, is also a member of the UNK Choraleers. The Choraleers performed a “Les Miserables Medley.”
