“Get yer crazies out” PDF Print E-mail

Prior to settling down to listen, Perkins County kindergartners were instructed to “get yer crazies out” last Friday by Robin Schroder, librarian at Hastings Memorial Library. In celebration of Dr. Seuss’ birthday, and in observance of “Read Across America,” the students gathered at the library for storytelling. Over 200 million copies of books by Dr. Seuss in 15 languages have found their way into homes around the world. Every year educators honor the birthday of the late Theodor Geisel, commonly known as Dr. Seuss, who was born March 2, 1904 and died in 1991, having written and illustrated 44 children’s books.
