Annual train show to be held in North Platte PDF Print E-mail

The Nebraska West Central Division of the National Model Railroad Association will hold its 19th Annual Train Show in North Platte on April 13 – 14.
The show will be at the D&N Event Center, 601 East Walker Road. This year’s show will be open to the public on Saturday, April 13 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and on Sunday, April 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Admission for the event is $3 for adults, children under 12 are $1, children under five will be admitted free with a paid adult.
The show will feature operating train layouts in O, S, HO and N scales. There will be over 60 tables of model railroad, railroad, and hobby equipment on sale from vendors. There will be bus tours of the Union Pacific yards on Saturday only for an additional fare.
The Nebraska West-Central  Division is a Division of the National Model Railroad Association and the purpose of the show is to promote the hobby of model railroading. The Division boundaries include that portion of Nebraska west of Highway 183 and is headquartered in Sutherland.
