Prante chosen as May’s Senior of the Month PDF Print E-mail

Michi Prante has been chosen as the senior of the month for May 2013. She is the daughter of Melissa Prante of Grant.
Prante has been highly visible throughout her high school career not only through academics, but athletics and community service.
She has been a member of FCCLA, volleyball and basketball all four years of high school.
She has been involved in musicals as a videographer and makeup artist, and was in speech for two years.
She is a member of National Honor Society, FCA and Quiz Bowl, serving as captain of Quiz Bowl two years.
Her community service has included projects with the Perkins County Youth Council, Hastings Memorial Library.
She has assisted with Perkins County Elementary summer school and has coached softball.
She has been employed at Hugs ‘n’ Teddy Bears Daycare for two years.
After graduation, Prante plans to attend a four-year college and major in secondary education, with the goal of becoming a high school history teacher.
She would also like to obtain a coaching endorsement and coach volleyball.
For being selected Senior of the Month, Prante’s picture will hang in the lobby of Pinnacle Bank in Grant and she will be eligible for a scholarship awarded at the end of the school year.
The Student of the Month and scholarship program are sponsored by Pinnacle Bank of Grant and members of the community.
