Kolton won his age division in the Wallace contest by playing a piano solo entitled “Ode To Joy.” Rebecca Vote placed second by playing a violin solo. Winning the younger group division at the local talent contest was a fifth grade instrumental ensemble consisting of Sydney Pelster, Quinn Koop and Ashton Erickson but they were unable to participate at the District Contest.
