Johnson earns degree at Doane
Jordan Johnson of Grant was one of approximately 650 undergraduates and graduates who were awarded degrees during Doane College’s commencement celebration Sunday, May 19, in Cassel Open Air Theatre in Crete, Neb. Johnson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Political Science, Journalism and Media degree.
Harms graduates from Peru State
Peru State recently awarded 459 students their degrees at the college’s 2013 Commencement ceremony. Among the graduates was Angela Harms of Elsie with a Bachelor of Science, Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education degree.
Krystal Gaar and Brent Turner of Grant have been named to the Chadron State College’s spring 2013 dean’s list. In order to qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a grade-point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and been enrolled in at least 12 hours of coursework.
Dahlkoetter graduates with honors
Morningside College conferred 270 bachelor’s degrees and 185 Master of Arts in Teaching degrees during its 115th spring commencement held Saturday, May 11. Outstanding graduates who were recognized with special awards in their fields of study included Danielle N. Dahlkoetter of Grant, Neb., Montford and Gertrude Knepper Award in English. Dahlkoetter graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
