With 4th of July just one month away, it’s time to begin fundraising efforts for the annual fireworks display put on by the Perkins County Chamber.
The light show will follow a full day of activities at Grant City Park on Thursday, July 4. There will be events for all ages to celebrate our nation’s birthday—watch for more details about events in the park in upcoming issues.
With an $7,000 budget, this year’s fireworks display will follow tradition as being one of the grandest in the region. Public input is needed to achieve that goal.
Donations from the public will be accepted at any bank in Perkins County, or at The Barber Pole in Grant.
Names of donors and the size of the shell their donation will purchase will be published in upcoming issues.
The shell sizes include: $10 and under—three inch shell; $11-$20—four inch shell; $21-49—five inch shell; $50-99—multi shot box; $100 and up—finalé.
