McCoy receives degree from SCC
Southeast Community College in Nebraska has released the names of students who earned degrees, diplomas or certificates during graduation exercises following the 2013 Spring Quarter.Ceremonies were held on the Beatrice, Lincoln and Milford campuses June 12.
Tyler McCoy of Elsie received his Associate of Applied Science in Agriculture Business & Management Technology.
Students awarded UNL scholarships
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln has awarded more than 1,600 scholarships to 2013 Nebraska high school graduates who will enroll at UNL this month. The total potential value of the scholarships is approximately $15.3 million.
Scholarship winners include Colton White, Perkins County High School, Regents, College of Arts and Sciences, a pre-law major; and Virginia Phillips, Wallace High School, Regents, Nebraska Top Scholar and Honors Program Textbook, College of Engineering, a biological systems engineering major.
Regents Scholarships pay tuition for up to 120 credit hours or the completion of a bachelor’s degree, whichever comes first. Each scholarship has an equivalent cash value of approximately $26,510.
