Wallace man in custody following assault PDF Print E-mail

Ted Evans of Wallace is in custody at the Lincoln County Detention Center after striking his son-in-law with a vehicle on Monday, Aug. 26.
The 66-year-old is charged with second degree assault, a Class III felony.
The incident followed an argument with son-in-law Lawrence Kidd, 42, also of Wallace, who after being released from detention for a domestic assault charge, had returned to resume residence with Evans’ daughter.
According to Lincoln County Chief Deputy Roland Kramer, Evans jumped into a vehicle and struck Kidd in the forearm as Kidd was attempting to enter Evans’ house.
Deputies arrived at the scene at 8:21 p.m.
Kidd suffered cuts and scrapes to his arm but declined medical service.
