“Tabernacle Experience” coming to McCook PDF Print E-mail

The Red Willow Ministerial Association is pleased to present “The Tabernacle Experience” to the community of McCook.
The Tabernacle Experience is not a museum; it is not a theatre production.
Participants will be translated to Old Testament times by experiencing a day in the life of an Old Testament priest in a 50-minute tour. Sacrifices will be lain on the consuming fire of the altar of the Burnt Offering; hands will be washed in preparation for the work of the Lord.
Oil lamps will be lit and participation in communion at the Table of Bread. Experience the heightening of senses in the smoke rising at the Altar of Incense and culminate the journey before the Arc of the Covenant and the Mercy Seat.
Individuals and groups are invited to participate Friday, Sept. 27-Oct. 6 with a $5 donation. Hours are M-W 11:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.; Th-Fri 9 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. On Saturday, Sept. 28, the tours will follow McCook’s Heritage Days parade, 1 p.m.-6:30 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
