Perkins County Schools will host a book fair during PT conferences Thursday, Oct. 24, noon-8 p.m. at the elementary and middle school.
Come eat hunter/harvest breakfast
All hunters/harvesters are invited to eat breakfast at the Grant United Methodist Church, 5th and Warren, Saturday, Oct. 26 on pheasant season opening day from 6-8 a.m. Free will offering.
Tree planting event Saturday
Join the Grant Tree Board at the Grant City Park on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 9:30 a.m. for a tree planting and pruning demonstration. Refreshments.
The second annual Trick-or-Trot 5K/kids mile run sponsored by the senior class of Perkins County High School and Image Total Fitness for Saturday, Oct. 26 at Grant City Park has been cancelled due to low registration numbers.
Gallery to host pumpkin party
Bring a pumpkin to Meadowlark Gallery in Grant on Saturday, Oct. 26, 3:30 p.m. for a carving/decorating party. Tools, paint, refreshments provided. All ages welcome.
Food pantry drive is Monday
Perkins County High School FCCLA members will hold a food drive for the county’s pantry on Monday, Oct. 28 from 6:45-8:15 p.m. Please leave a porch light on if they can pick up a donation. If not home, please call 352-4735 to have it picked up, or it can be delivered to the high school office.
Chamber to host treat street
Trick-or-Treat Street hosted by Perkins County Chamber will be held in Grant Thursday, Oct. 31, 4-5 p.m. Kids and adults invited to come in costume!
