“Elvis" comes to Westview PDF Print E-mail

Elvis was “In The Building” to celebrate 75 years of Stonecroft Ministries at Westview Community in Grant on Oct. 16.
The Ogallala/Grant Women’s Connection enjoyed the surprise musical performance by Bob McMann as Elvis. The birthday party was complete with noise makers, party hats and cake.
Melanie Golightly from Lenexa, Kan. spoke, telling of her experiences “Pursuing perfection provided with peace.”
The Women’s Connection is one of 750 groups meeting regularly in the U.S. and is part of Stonecroft International active in 35 countries.
For 75 years Stonecroft Ministries has equipped hundreds of thousand of volunteers and staff who share spiritual truths. There are no membership dues. Everyone is invited to monthly meetings featuring speakers, food and fun.
McMann said, “Entertaining as Elvis for Stonecroft Ministries was special. Anyone who entertains knows how draining it can be. At Stonecroft, however, when I was done singing, I got to listen to a guest speaker who shared her testimony of God’s power and love which made me feel like there was nothing I couldn’t do through Christ that strengthens us.
