|Kiolbasa is Senior of the Month|
Allison Kiolbasa of Grant, daughter of Bob and Brenda Kiolbasa, has been chosen Senior of the Month for November.
Allison has made it a priority to always do her best in everything she attempts, whether it is scholastics, sports, activities or community service.
She has tried almost every activity that Perkins County High School has to offer, including sports, academic clubs, student government and music and drama.
She has participated in volleyball and basketball, has been a band member and has taken part in musicals, and drama. She held several class offices, is a member of National Honor Society and a member of student council.
She has been a participant in mock trial, speech, Quiz Bowl, National Art Society, and has been on the A honor roll throughout high school.
In service to the community, she has helped at bloodmobiles, dinners, youth group activities, vacation Bible school, kids sports programs, Little Einsteins after school program, as well as several mission trips, to name just a few.
She has been employed at Westview Retirement Community and Hugs-n-Teddybears Daycare.
Following graduation, Allison plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Kearney with an undecided major.
For being selected Senior of the Month, Allison’s picture will hang in the lobby of Pinnacle Bank in Grant and she will be eligible for a scholarship awarded at the end of the school year.
The Student of the Month and scholarship program are sponsored by Pinnacle Bank of Grant and members of the community.
