Saturday, Jan. 11 the Plainsman wrestlers were back in action following the holiday break, participating in the Garden County Invitational.
The team finished 18th out of 20 teams, with only three participating Plainsmen scoring nine points.
Sedgwick County finished first with a score of 176; Bridgeport was second with 109 and Maxwell third with 104. Following were Mullen in fourth place with 101; McPherson fifth with 100; Sutherland sixth, 85; Hemingford seventh, 63; Kimball eighth, 55; Hay Springs and Southeast tied for ninth, 52; Garden County 11th, 51; North Platte JV 12th, 40; Crawford 13th, 36; Hyannis 14th, 24.5; Minatare 15th, 24; Morrill 16th, 23; Sioux County 17th, 12; Banner County and Creek Valley tied for 19th, 7 points.
