|Auditions for Missoula Children's Theater are Monday|
The audition for the Missoula Children's Theatre production of Blackbeard the Pirage will be held on Monday, Jan. 20 from 4-6 pm at Prairie View Elementary. There are roles for students K-12. Approximately 50-60 local students will be cast to appear in the show with the MCT tour actor/director. There is no guarantee that everyone who auditions will be cast. Students wishing to audition must arrive promptly at 4 and stay for the entire two-hour session. The first rehearsal begins approximately 15-30 minutes after the audition.
Rehearsals will be conducted every day from 4-8:30 at Prairie View Elementary on Monday and at Ogallala High School the rest of the week. Those auditioning must have a clear schedule for the entire week and be able to attend all rehearsals.
Performances will be held Saturday, Jan. 25 at 3 and 7 p.m. at the Ogallala High School Performing Arts Center. There will be a dressed rehearsal before the performance that day.
The Missoula Children's Theatre is a a non-profit organization based in Missoula, Mont. The residency in Ogallala is made possible by the Ogallala Regional Arts Council and the Ogallala Optimists.
