Rory J. Roundtree has joined the Ogallala law firm, Pierce Law Office, as an associate attorney. Roundtree, a 2001 graduate of Dundy County High School, is a native of Parks. He completed his undergraduate degrees at Truman State University in Missouri and went on to attend Saint Louis University School of Law where he received his juris doctor. He is licensed to practice law in Nebraska and Missouri.
Prior to moving to Ogallala, Roundtree worked at the Ryals Law Firm, P.C. in St. Louis, Mo. Prior to working at the firm, he worked for the president of the St. Louis Board of Aldermen as communications director.
“I have been looking forward to the opportunity to return to Nebraska for some time and jumped at the chance to return home to practice law in western Nebraska, said Roundtree. “I understand and greatly value all that smaller towns have to offer both personally and professionally and look forward to getting involved in the community. It’s great to be back.”
Pierce Law Office is a general practice with an emphasis on estate planning, probate, real estate, business formation, corporate litigation and agriculture law. Roundtree, in addition to these areas of the law, will represent clients in juvenile, family and general litigation.
Roundtree will split his time between the firm’s two offices in Ogallala and Imperial.
