Women’s Connection to gather at Westview April 16 PDF Print E-mail

“Detours of Life” is the theme of the Ogallala/Grant Women’s Connection gathering on Wednesday April 16 at Westview Retirement Community at 1 Westview Drive in Grant.
The afternoon’s festivities are open to everyone and begin at 2:30 p.m. MT. Tickets at the door and include entertainment and refreshments.
Paul Lee will provide the musical fun. He is a charter member of a 12-year-old Kansas City Metro Men’s Chorus that has raised over $310,000 for a variety of charities. He is a native of Topeka, Kan. but has lived many places while working for IBM. He also worked for a while for IRS to pay for missions trips to Poland.
His wife, Peggy, will be sharing - “Detours of Life - How to keep from getting lost on a detour.” Peggy and Paul live in Prairie Village, Kan. Peggy was adopted as an infant, married her college sweetheart, was divorced, widowed and remarried. She has adopted a daughter and she gave birth to a daughter who became mentally and physically handicapped then died at age 31. She now has two grandchildren and she and her husband travel and share their music and their story.
