Three PCHS students awarded Midwest Electric scholarships PDF Print E-mail

Midwest Electric, along with its power suppliers, Basin Electric and Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association Inc., are proud to announce this year’s scholarship winners.
Rebecca Cornelius will receive a $1,000 scholarship from Basin Electric Power Cooperative. She is the daughter of David and Robin Cornelius of Madrid. Rebecca will graduate from Perkins County High School and plans to attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and major in agriculture education with a minor in animal science.
Sarah Medich will receive a $500 scholarship from Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association, Inc. She is the daughter of Ryal and Barb Meyer of Brule. Sarah will graduate from Perkins County High School and plans to attend the University of Nebraska at Kearney and major in elementary education with a minor in music education.
Chase Miyamoto will receive a $500 scholarship from Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association, Inc. He is the son of Dennis and Leslie Miyamoto of Grant. After graduating from Perkins County High School, he plans to attend Northwest Kansas Technical College and earn a degree in architectural drafting and engineering.
