Traffic stop results in drug arrest PDF Print E-mail

An evening traffic stop by Perkins County Sheriff’s Office law enforcement officers on June 12 at 7:28 p.m. resulted in the arrest of Cody M. Andersen, 29, of Grant.
Andersen was jailed at the Keith County Jail in Ogallala for driving under the influence of drugs, possession of an open alcohol container, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drugs and firearms.
Andersen’s drugs and weapons were seized and Andersen’s vehicle was impounded at the Perkins County Sheriff’s Office impound lot.
Andersen was later released at a $15,000, 10 percent cash bond.
Andersen is scheduled to appear for arraignment in Perkins County Court on Wednesday, July 2.
The case has been forwarded to Perkins County Attorney Rick Roberts and Perkins County Deputy Attorney Joel Phillips for prosecution.
