Time running out for MPCC grant program
Time is running out for Mid-Plains Community College’s Bridge Grant Program in the Medical Office Certificate program.
The Bridge Grant program allows students to participate and complete the Medical Office Certificate program.
This current program may only be available at the college for the 2014-2015 school year.
As an added incentive, eligible participants may receive financial assistance with tuition, fees, and books.
“This grant and tuition assistance will hopefully encourage students to complete their Medical Office Certificate and encourage them to work towards an Associate’s Degree to become even more marketable in today’s workforce,” said Teresa Piccolo, grant coordinator.
In the first year of the Bridge Grant program, four students successfully completed their PC Support Services Diploma with honors and are currently working towards their Associate of Applied Science Degree in Information Technology.
