Decorate a luminary bag for Relay for Life PDF Print E-mail

It’s time to register for the annual Relay for Life scheduled for Friday, July 25 in Ogallala.
“Survivor Sunday” is July 13 from 1-3 p.m. at the Congregational Church at 302 N. Spruce in Ogallala where cancer survivors can pre-register for the event.
On July 25, those who haven’t pre-registered may do so at 6 p.m. prior to the start of Relay for Life. The walk starts at 7 p.m. at St. Paul’s Fellowship Hall at 312 W. Third Street in Ogallala.
As in the past, luminaria will line the walk. Everyone is invited to decorate a bag in honor of, or in memory of, a loved one or friend who has had cancer, survived cancer, or lost their battle with cancer.
In Grant, the $10 bags may be picked up at Adams Bank and Trust, Grant Pharmacy, Adams Lumber or the Grant Tribune-Sentinel. Money will be collected when the bag is picked up.
Decorated bags must be returned by July 23 to the location where picked up and they will be delivered to the Relay for Life site in Ogallala.
Anyone with questions may contact Joyce Walls at 308-280-0057.
