Toby B. Cooper - March 01, 2011


Toby B. Cooper of Burlington, Colo. passed away unexpectedly on March 1, 2011 in Goodland, Kan. He was 37 years old.
Toby was born on Feb. 21, 1974 in Grant, Neb. to Bill and Ramona Mae Cooper. He was the youngest of six children.
He graduated from Paxton High School in 1992. He went on and attended college at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colo. and graduated in 1994 with an Associates Degree in agriculture. After farming for several years, he went on and attended school at Heritage College in Denver and received a degree in massage therapy.
Toby had a love for working cattle and enjoyed working with people in the surrounding communities as a massage therapist. He also enjoyed hunting pheasants and going fishing at Lake McConaughy.
He was a very energetic, enthusiastic and passionate person who enjoyed spending time with many people, and had a love for life.
He was preceded in death by his mother Ramona in 2004.
He is survived by his father, Bill, of Madrid, Neb.; three daughters, Corin and Macie Perry of Limon, Colo. and Aspen Cooper of Burlington; four brothers, Scott Cooper and wife Sheila Wiseman of Goleta, Calif., Tim and wife Gailya Cooper of Omaha, Tracy and wife Diane Cooper of Snyder, Neb. and Stonie and wife Laura Cooper of Prague, Neb.; one sister, Karla and husband Tim McQueen of Elsie, Neb. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial services were held, Friday, March 4, 2011 at the Love Funeral Home in Burlington with Pastor David Williams officiating.
Inurnment was held on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at the Madrid Cemetery in Madrid.
Memorials may be made in Toby’s name to an education fund for his daughter Aspen and may be sent to the Love Funeral Home in Burlington.
