Casie Linn Gibbs - October 19, 2012

Casie Linn Gibbs, 18, of Clay Center, Neb. was born March 20, 1994, in Aurora, Neb. to Clark and Candice (Scherff) Gibbs. She died Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 as a result of an automobile accident. Casie was a senior at Sandy Creek High School and was employed at Dairy Queen in Hastings, Neb.
She is survived by her father, Clark Gibbs; step-mother, Cathy (Ellison) Gibbs; birth mother, Candice (Scherff) Clemmons; brother, Kyhler Gibbs; grandparents; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
Casie was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Elmer and wife Mildred Beck; Charles and wife Vivian Gibbs.
A memorial service was held Oct. 25, at the Arbor Drive Community Church in York, Neb. with Pastor Brock Youngren officiating.
Funeral services were held Oct. 26, at the Clay Center Christian Church in Clay Center with Pastor Brock Youngren officiating.
Interment followed at the Clay Center Cemetery in Clay Center.
