Paul Arthur Pankonin - February 19, 2009

Paul Arthur Pankonin of Temple City, Calif., was born Feb. 22, 1915 to Herman E. and Bertha Pankonin in Grant, Neb. He was the youngest of nine children.
Paul attended grade school and high school in Grant. He graduated from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Neb.
After graduation he went to California where two of his sisters, Helen and Elsie, lived. He worked for 45 years for Foremost Dairies in Los Angeles.
Paul died Feb. 19, 2009 after a fall at his home.
He is survived by Barbara, his loving wife of 54 years; daughter, Kristin; and two granddaughters, Adrienne Helen and Julia Sterling Dahl of Albany, Calif.

Memorial services were held Feb. 28 at the First Baptist Church of Temple City.
