Nina Kuskie - December 23, 2012

Nina Kuskie was born on Oct. 25, 1940 at Ft. Collins, Colo. She was the oldest of three girls born to William and Lois Hagler Niswender. She grew up in Arnold, Neb. where she attended school. She later spent time in North Platte, Neb.
Nina was married to Charles Kuskie on Aug. 6, 1967 in Arnold. They lived their entire married life in Venango, Neb. where Charles worked for the Perkins County Roads Department. Nina worked at Ethel’s Cafe for Rose and Eddie Golenor for several years. She always enjoyed being outside in her garden and flowers. She also mowed different lawns in Venango for many years.
Nina had been failing in health and died early Sunday morning, Dec. 23, 2012 in Venango. She had reached the age of 72.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-father, William Green.
She is survived by her husband, Charles; two daughters, Sherry and her husband Jeff Miller of Moore, Okla. and Angie and her husband Junior Ybarra of Venango; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; three sisters, Elaine Cassidy of Keenesburg, Colo., Linda and her husband Sharol Whitman in Louisiana and Diana and her husband Denny Rodocker of Halsey, Neb.; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Dec. 27, 2012 at the Venango Community Church with Pastor Chris Costrini officiating.
Burial was in the Venango Cemetery.
Bullock-Long Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
