Wilbert Ensz - June 09, 2009

Wilbert Ensz, passed away peacefully in Atwater, Calif., on June 9, 2009. Wilbert was born on March 7, 1922 in Inman, Kan. 
Wilbert spent all of his life as a devoted husband, father and grandfather. 
Wilbert’s passion was building and volunteering back to the church he dearly loved, the Church of God in Christ Mennonite, of which he was a life-long member.
Wilbert will be dearly remembered for building large custom homes, metal buildings, grain storage systems as well as designing and making many unique hand crafted wood items in his later years.
He was preceded in death by his lovely wife of over 60 years, Matilda Ensz in 2004, his brother Ben Ensz of Inman, Kan., and his sister Rosella Penner also of Inman.
He is survived by his son Gladwin Ensz and daughter-in-law Mashawn Ensz of Atwater, Calif., grandsons Landon Ensz and Preston Ensz both of Atwater, sisters Alma Penner of Inman, Margaret Riemer of Moundridge, Kan., Viola Hiebrt of Jamesport, Mo., Mildred Friesen of Madrid, Neb., Gladys and brother-in-law Henry Koehn of Okona, MS and brother Dave and sister-in-law Juanita Ensz of Paxton, Neb., as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 15, 2009 at the Church of God in Christ Mennonite, Winton, Calif.  Burial was at Winton District Cemetery, Winton.
