|The family of Kermit Karns would like to thank everyone in this community and beyond for the prayers, love and friendship given to Kermit ever since he moved back to Imperial from Kansas City, Mo. in 1999. He enjoyed living here following the passing of wife Lottie and being close to family and friends in this area.
We all appreciated the prayers, cards, flowers, food and memorials given at his passing. Thank you to Pastor Valera Heydenberk, Melody Newman and Father Lorenz for their special prayers, love and support. Thanks also for the compassionate care of the Parkview Assisted Living and Imperial Manor staff.
The memorial service was very special with several sharing memories and the great-granddaughters singing. Thanks to Rob Browning for playing the piano. We appreciated Stan Hofman loaning back Kermit’s blue Oldsmobile for a final trip to Mount Hope Cemetery. You all helped Kermit to finish his 97 years with love and support.
Dick and Loretta Karns,
|Thank you Perkins County Chamber for the Chamber Bucks I won during the December drawing.
|The family of Eleanor McCroden would like to thank everyone for their prayers, cards and flowers, along with those who provided food, made memorial contributions and expressed sympathy and caring to us during the time of our loss.
Eleanor believed love was the most important thing and lived her life that way. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin.
She will be greatly missed.

|Thank you for the birthday cards I received. They were nice. Thank you.
|Your sympathy, words of encouragement and memorials were greatly appreciated by the family of Margaret Parrish. Her passing put an end to her suffering.
We would also like to acknowledge the thoughtful employees at Park Ridge, Perkins County Hospital and Golden Ours Convalescent Home. Her care was outstanding. We all should be very proud of the facilities and the employees.
Special thanks goes to Dr. Cliff and his staff. Sometimes our medical professionals go beyond the call and we need to let them know they are appreciated.

|Our thanks to all the generous and loving people of Perkins County for your expressions of sympathy extended to our families at the death of our mother and grandmother, Dee Sykes. Each card, visit, hug and prayer helped so much. We are grateful for the wonderful meals, the beautiful flowers and the generous memorial donations.
We say a huge thank you to Dr. Cliff and Dr. Ruth who so lovingly cared for mom the last few years. To the UMW ladies for their meal and to Pastor Nora and John and Kris, we are grateful for your tender care during this time.
Lastly, to the special angels who work and walk the halls at GOCH, you have shown a special kind of love to us. You provide dignity and quality of life when both are just not there. You will always have a special place in our hearts. Mom so loved so many of you.
We are grateful to live in Perkins County and wish all of you a blessed Merry Christmas.
