Speaking, music talent on stage at 4-H contest

Twenty 4-H members from Perkins and Chase counties participated in the 4-H Public Speaking and Music Contest held Sunday at the Imperial United Methodist Church. 

Spectators enjoyed a variety of performances from musical selections to poetry and speeches. The 4-H members competing ranged in age from 5-15.

Public speaking

Clover Kid—Ashton Korpan, Lainey Lee, Rieken Lee, Rylee Ostermiller, Josie Sauder

Novice—Sadie Sauder, Chase County Reserve Champion; Joel Adle, Chase County Grand Champion; Rowan Lee, Perkins County Grand Champion

Junior—Meila Korpan, Perkins County Grand Champion

Intermediate—Sawyer Sauder, Chase County Reserve Champion; Bennett Kuenning, Chase County Grand Champion 

Senior—Carter Kuenning, Chase County Grand Champion
