Blood drive meets goal

The Elsie/Madrid Community Blood Drive that was held Friday, April 14 ended up just making its goal by one unit. The goal was set by the American Red Cross. 

Donors and Red Cross staff were treated to lunch that was prepared and served by the Paxton Mennonite Church. 

All donors received a “be cool, give blood”  Peanuts-Snoopy T-shirt  that was provided by the Red Cross.

Volunteers who donated their time and resources for the day were: Tammy Giesbrecht and Kara Giesbrecht.

Reaching their gallon milestones were: Diane Hagan, five; Michele Cutler, 13.
